Title: Toward Integrated Wireless MEMS Sensors

Abstract: 
Wireless sensors/sensor networks have broad applications in
telemedicine, homeland security, battlefields, etc. Most existing wireless
sensors/sensor networks simply link sensors with wireless modules.
Tremendous progress on sensing signal wireless transceiving has been made
based on "Smart-dust" concept and TinyOS. However, the challenges for small
size, low power and low cost remain. In this talk, I will introduce MEMS and
MEMS-based integrated sensors and RF MEMS devices which can potentially lead
to integrated wireless sensors/sensor networks.
