Abstract:
The binary bits in multimedia data are not equally important. The
important bits, such as picture header or other side information,
should be protected so that they can be delivered with a much lower
error rate. A flexble way to implement UEP is multilevel coded
modulation. In this talk, a brief introduction to UEP is provided.
