Course Goals
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to
- identify common considerations and techniques in the design of
communication systems
- understand the basics of analog and digital modulation
techniques
- proficiently employ Fourier analysis to the design of
communication systems
- program MATLAB to simulate and experiment different techniques
covered in class
